Below is an excert from the 2009 Technology Counts Report.  This specific section dealt with how to find quality teaching material on the internet without spending hours browsing.  The site mentioned is curriki.  I checked it out and found a ton of great resources on my favorite topic, Old Hickory!  It is free to sign up and only takes a second (hint: use your gmail or other email address to register if you want immediate access.  The school's email filter will probably block the registration confirmation.).

"Teachers have told us again and again that they want easy access, in a format that is not very time-consuming, to materials they can use in their classes,” says Anne Schreiber, the chief academic officer for Curriki, an online encyclopedia of free curricular materials from commercial vendors, government and professional organizations, and educators. Some 61,000 members have registered for the Web site, www.curriki.org, for access to more than 24,000 classroom resources.
