We have almost 50 students involved with Five Star this winter. That means we have 50 of our students involved in a mentoring relationship with an adult volunteer right now. The relationship between the mentors and the coaches is valuable because they are responsible to one another. One way we can build on the lessons are kids are learning in Five Star is by reinforcing the lessons the kids are learning. The link below is an outline of the winter curriculum for the program. Take a look when you get a chance and make an effort to reinforce the character traits in class. The week 3 lesson is especially relevant.
