Interesting information that I saw at my conference yesterday. Do we have a Boy Problem? How are we engaging boys in the skills and content that will make their experience at Lincoln real and relevant to them. Are we giving them a voice in their experience? Just food for thought.
I really believe this is why authentic learning where the student's voice is heard and utilized in the curriculum is so important. It may take some crazy creativity to incorporate student interest, but if our mindset is completely student-centered, that creativity will be worth it.
