Staff- Over the course of the next two weeks all teachers will meet with their primary evaluator to discuss observations this year and goals. We will be discussing goals in the areas of reading, writing, or discussing and in the areas of targeted student population.
Goal 1: Reading, Writing, Discussing - This goals should be a goal to increase the use of strategies geared towards reading, writing, and discussing in your classes.
Goal 2: Targeted student population- Here teachers will need to identify one class and students in the class that are in need of tier 2 support (extra time and support).
Teachers need to use this form from SFS to prepare their goal.
These goals will be monitored throughout the year and at the end of the year. You may use these goals as artifacts in SFS Domain 1 1.1, 1.2 and 1.5

Mandatory Homework Intervention- Core Teachers- This intervention will attempt to target student agency and in improving students completing homework. Teachers may send the missing assignments to Jessica Kain with the students names on them if they are an assignment that the student does not have. Mrs. Kain will work with these identified students throughout the rest of the quarter to improve their work ethic and work completion. Continue to connect with these students and do not hesitate to attempt to find a time to conference with the students about their missing work.
Yearbook Class Pictures- On Friday of this week, 9.15.17, we will be taking a class picture of all students during advisory period. We will be shooting the picture on the south bleachers of the football field. We will only have 30 minutes per class to get everyone out there and set up. We will call over the intercom shortly after the bell. Please bring your students out to the bleachers and help get them seated as quickly as possible. These two pictures will be used for the front and back cover of the yearbook this year. Thanks for your help!
