Exactly! Perspective.

As we prepare to embark on part two of ISTEP I saw this message from a principal in Indiana that has exactly the mindset that I have tried to communicate and is in line with my own beliefs.  Please read it and reflect.  In this time of testing we sometimes forget why we all became teachers and what we are trying to do each and everyday.  I know that we all feel pressure and anxiety to have students perform well on these tests however no test can determine the amount of hard work you put in and the positive impact that each of you have in the lives of your students.  In what ways can we better communicate that our students are more than a test score?
